Employment Application Process
Certification Requirements for EMTs & Paramedics.
EMTs and Paramedics must also submit the following:

EMT: Copy of valid CPR card (only American Red Cross, American Heart Association or Healthcare Provider certificates are acceptable), National Registry Certification; 10 year DMV Report (H6) dated within 30 days (online sources not accepted)

PARAMEDIC: Copy of a valid CPR card (only American Red Cross or American Heart Association certificates are acceptable); State of California License for Paramedics; 10 year DMV Report (H6) dated within 30 days (online sources not accepted)
EMT and Paramedic applicants must have been properly licensed to drive for a period of at least two (2) years and be at least 18 years of age.
